Bristol to get integrated pathology services

CliniSys and Capita have formed a strategic partnership to deliver a managed service for pathology.

Under the partnership, Capita’s healthcare decisions business will deliver CliniSys software, and the sensitive data held by its private and public sector clients, from its healthcare platform. It will also deliver CliniSys software as a service over N3.

“Following a comprehensive competitive tendering process, we are delighted to have forged a strategic partnership with Capita’s experienced heathcare decisions team to host our customers’ mission critical applications”.

Andy Lockwood, managing director at Capita healthcare decisions, said: “demand for our managed service expertise is increasing rapidly as more and more organisations look to realise reduced cost of ownership and risk while enjoying the highest levels of data security and service resilience.”
