Dr Kelsey Flott, Deputy Director of Patient Safety at NHSX
Dr Kelsey Flott is the Deputy Director of Patient Safety at NHSX where she is responsible for leading NHSX’s Digital Safety Programme. She is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation and a Module Lead for the MSc in Patient Safety. Kelsey completed a PhD in Health Policy at Imperial College London and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy at the University of Oxford. Previously, Kelsey was Policy Fellow and the Patient Safety Lead of the NIHR Patient Safety Translational Research Centre (PSTRC) and the Deputy Director of the MSc in Patient Safety. She continues to play an advisory role on various patient safety and academic committees at a local, national and international level. Kelsey also led the operational management of the WHO Global Patient Safety Collaborative, a multi-national consortium designed to strengthen patient safety leadership, capacity building and research development in low and middle income countries.
Chris Richmond, Head of Delivery (Improvement) – Digital Health Team, NHSX
Chris Richmond is a member of the Digital Health Team in NHSX and remains a registered Paramedic. He is currently working on the Implementation of technology and alignment with improvement science. Previously he has worked on a number of National programmes including NHS 111.
Holly Carr, Florence Nightingale Digital Leadership Fellow
Holly is a registered paediatric nurse with a passion for patient safety and the nursing superpower – intuition. In May 2021, Holly joined the Digital Clinical Safety Team at NHSX as a Florence Nightingale Fellow, working on the Digital Clinical Safety Strategy alongside the CNIO agenda.
