It comes after NHS Digital published the UK SNOMED CT codes for Covid-19. The guidance will support central data collections to help manage the pandemic.
A Coronavirus Status Checker will be used to collect informationinform the NHS’s response to the virus, but it fails to take a person’s sex into account.
The platform connects the Government and other national organisations responsible for coordinating the UK’s response to “secure, reliable and timely data”.
Called AiCE, the AI algorithm can deliver quicker, more reliable and higher-quality image reconstructions from patient CT scans.
New powers are to be given to NHS Digital as to help the spread of Covid-19. This includes using data to help clinicians understand more about it.
