Ming Tang announced as keynote at AI and Data 2024

Ming Tang, the leader at the forefront of the NHS’ data revolution in England, will make a welcome return as national keynote at the Digital Health AI and Data conference 2024.

The event, dedicated to exploring latest developments the use of data, analytics, machine learning and AI, is taking place at London Olympia on 22-23 October 2024.

As chief data and analytics officer for NHS England, Tang is leading strategies to reshape health and care across personalised medicine, real-time and predictive analytics, patient monitoring, population health, and digital workforce.

Tang also led the procurement of the NHS Federated Data Platform, which is aimed to improve analytics and speed up patient care.

She joins keynotes Haris Shuaib, head of clinical scientific computing at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Nicola Byrne, the national data guardian for health and adult social care in England.

Other speakers at the event include Dr Abdulhussein, chief executive of Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex, and Jules Gudgeon, national digital midwife lead for maternity.
