Thriva Solutions teams up with LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor
Personalised at-home testing has gained a boost, as Thriva Solutions has teamed up with LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor so that the latter can now offer home blood testing kits to its patients via the Thriva Solutions Health Connect platform.
The two-year partnership will see LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor bolster its end-to-end diagnostic services, which now offer customers a range of tests including general health, men’s health and weight management.
In addition, Thriva Solutions will also be providing LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor with an internal escalation calculator, giving the online doctor service more granular signposting of when a clinical professional visit may be needed. The in-house GPs will be empowered to assess the risk of escalations and offer advice to patients on the most appropriate next steps.
As a result of the partnership LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor patients can order test kits seamlessly via the Thrive Solutions’ API integration. All steps will be displayed in a LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor-branded results dashboard – from the original order and the fulfilment of the order, through to the test results. This will be powered by the Thriva Health Connect platform to ensure an efficient and high-quality experience for users.
Hamish Grierson, CEO and co-founder of Thriva, said: “The Thriva Solutions offering puts years of clinical and technical experience delivering remote diagnostics – in which it has reached over 2 million people with at-home tests – into a flexible and convenient and scalable platform for organisations – seamlessly integrating with existing digital systems to deliver insights via a simple API.
“This expertise, combined with Thriva’s dedication to providing flexible and scalable solutions, aligns perfectly with LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor’s’ commitment to offering exceptional healthcare services.”
Andy Sloman, CEO LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor, added: “The collaboration between LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor and Thriva is set to reshape the way patients approach their health. By offering actionable insights and fostering a proactive approach to well-being, at-home blood-testing through this partnership will empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health, ultimately leading to healthier, happier lives.”
In June Thriva announced a two-year nationwide partnership with Superdrug Health Clinics, offering its diagnostic testing, including Thriva’s newest antibody tests for chickenpox, Hepatitis B and MMR.
