Agilio Software extends knowledge partnership with NICE
- 5 May 2023
Healthcare technology and clinical content provider Agilio Software has announced it has extended its long-running partnership with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), which will see it produce clinical knowledge summaries (CKS) for at least three more years.
Agilio Software has been a trusted clinical content provider to NICE for more than two decades already. Its team creates evidence-based guidance for GPs and healthcare professionals to support them in the diagnosis and treatment of common conditions in primary care.
Extending the partnership will see Agilio Software continue to author content for the NICE CKS library. The library contains over 375 clinical topics and over 2,000 patient scenarios and is accessed by over 650,000 clinicians every month.
Medical director of Agilio Software, Dr Gerry Morrow, said: “We have always been incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with NICE and this extension to our partnership for a further three years is a significant vote of confidence in our team.
“We know that clinicians rely on CKS every day to give them the best advice when dealing with patients. We look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality of information so that patients receive the best possible quality of care.”

They include Finance Automations, which removes the need for time-consuming spreadsheets, and Dashboards – which helps businesses to uncover insights to drive growth and improve performance.
Agilio Software’s CEO, Neil Laycock said: “[Caragon’s] customer-centric ethos and offering are highly complementary to that of Agilio, and together we can further develop the digital platforms our customers need to streamline their processes and grow their businesses.
“We are really excited to move into an area that already brings significant benefits to the dental sector and advances our mission of using technology to optimise healthcare operations so we can improve frontline care.”
Agilio Software also recently strengthened its dental division with the appointment of Lee Slater as head of commercial.
