May’s edition of Movers and Shakers features plenty of appointments across a number of organisations such as Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals of Northamptonshire.
Alistair Reid-PearsonĀ has become the permanent CIO for The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in May 2022, after serving as interim CIO.
Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has appointedĀ Nick DunawayĀ as its CIO from May 2022. Dunaway joins the trust from NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit where he was deputy CIO.
Dunaway’s predecessor wasĀ Chris Reynolds who has started a new role as CIO at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in May 2022.
Elsewhere, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust has appointed Nick BarlowĀ as its chief digital transformation officer in May 2022. Barlow was previously director of applied digital healthcare.
Stephen SloughĀ has a new position as chief digital officer for the integrated care system which covers Dorset. Slough, who is a certified healthcare CIO with CHIME, has worked within the NHS since 2016, where he has held a number of CIO roles within the organisations that make up NHS Dorset. These include Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, Dorset Healthcare and Dorset County Hospital.
University Hospitals of Northamptonshire is to have a a new CCIO (Nursing, Midwifery and AHPs) after it appointed Ramandeep Kaur. Kaur will start her new role in July 2022 and is currently lead electronic prescribing and medicines administration pharmacist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Kirstie WatsonĀ has been appointed senior program manager for NHS Transformation Directorate (previously NHSX). Watson was previously digital lead at NHS Northampton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Private healthcare online solutions provider Healthcode has appointed Richard Aris as its head of business development.
Aris will plan and direct Healthcodeās sales and development activity and will lead the business development team in building partnerships with practices, hospitals and insurers. He will provide support and keep them informed about products and services that will help them operate more efficiently.
