Peppy Health expands its digital services for women

Peppy Health has announced it is expanding its Women’s Digital Health Service for employees in order to provide a fuller health service.

Over the past year Peppy, a former Digital Health Rewired Pitchfest winner, has seen significant growth in user numbers – with a 1,400% increase, as well as a 1,000% increase in staff numbers and an eight-fold increase in revenue. After securing £6.6m in a Series A funding round, Peppy is set to support future growth.

The existing provision will expand to include new areas such as gynaecology, contraception, sex, nutrition, mental health, addiction, common conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, UTIs, breast care, PMS and more. This is in addition to menopause, fertility, pregnancy and new parenthood advice that is already available.

Dr Mridula Pore, CEO of Peppy, said: “We all understand that the NHS has been under huge pressure, particularly over the past two years, but this means that so many women cannot currently access the services and support that they require, and in some cases, desperately need. That is why we are launching this expansion to help female employees and in turn, improve outcomes for employers too, by improving retention, engagement and attraction of women in the workplace.”

Peppy now provides digital health support for over 250 employers, and through companies such as Santander, BNP, Paribas, Cap Gemini and Novartis, as well as PMI providers Vitality and AXA Health. In total it supports over one million employees with its current services.
