DigitalHealth.London unveiled as new official partner for Rewired
DigitalHealth.London has been unveiled as a new official partner for Digital Health Rewired 2020, the show that connects current and future health leaders with the best in disruptive digital health.
Backed by the three London Academic Health Science Networks, and MedCity, DigitalHealth.London is a programme aiming to speed up the development and scaling of digital innovations across health and care, and pioneer their adoption by the NHS, to deliver tangible improvements in experience and outcomes for patients.
Digital Health Rewired, which returns to London Olympia on 3-4 March 2020, will bring together the most exciting digital health start-ups with NHS IT leaders. DigitalHealth.London will contribute to an original programme with the most compelling speakers and content.
“We’re looking forward to working with DigitalHealth.London on areas of the Rewired programme, particularly around the intersection of NHS and digital health start-ups,” said Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health.
“Rewired will give delegates the chance to meet with a huge range of start-ups and innovators, who can support digital roadmaps across the NHS – all under one roof,” added Hoeksma.
On day one at the Rewired Leadership Summit, Yinka Makinde, programme director for DigitalHealth.London will lead a Digital Pioneer Fellowship session with vignette presentations from Fellows on the programme to an audience of the most senior NHS CCIOs and CIOs.
Makinde said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Digital Health on Rewired 2020, which affirms us a key provider of capability building services in the digital health sector.
“The Digital Pioneer Fellowship session will offer delegates a rare chance to hear directly from emerging leaders on the frontline who face battles every day when trying to bring about local change through digital transformation. My hope is that they will hear and be inspired to take action to ensure there is sufficient support for all staff members within their organisations to be better equipped to deliver change” added Makinde.
Day two will see the return of the Rewired Conference and Exhibition, aimed at everyone interested in helping shape the digital future of health and care. Innovation will be one of the central themes of the conference with several digital health companies due to share their stories of passing first stages of start-up into a high growth phase, and working with the NHS.
As part of the conference, the fast-paced Rewired Pitchfest returns with 16 of the best start-ups in digital health competing live on stage. The new partnership with DigitalHealth.London will see programme director Yinka Makinde join the judging panel.
New for 2020 is the Digital Health Developer Conference on day two which is dedicated to developers working across all parts of health and care. Start-ups and innovators from DigitalHealth.London’s programmes will be invited to attend.
Digital Health News recently reported that twenty companies became the fourth cohort to be inducted onto DigitalHealth.London accelerator programme.
Created by Digital Health, the market-leading publishers of news, research and organisers of the annual CCIO and CIO Summer Schools, we focus on delivering the most compelling speakers and original programmes to ensure Rewired has real buzz and excitement and is a must-attend event of the year.
