NHSX CEO Matthew Gould to be Rewired 2020 keynote

Matthew Gould, the CEO of NHSX is the first of the keynotes to be confirmed for Digital Health Rewired, 2020.

The NHSX CEO will review progress of NHSX, the new body overseeing NHS IT which was set up in July 2019, and explore key priority areas in interoperability, standards and evolution of the GDE and LHCRE initiatives.

Gould will take part in a sofa conversation and Q&A session on the main Digital Transformation stage at Rewired with Digital Health editor-in-chief Jon Hoeksma. who said: “Matthew Gould is definitely the man in the hot seat at NHSX, charged with accelerating the adoption of digital across all parts of health and care. We’re delighted that he’s the first keynote we are announcing for Rewired 2020.”

Hoeksma added: “Rewired 2020 will again focus on the intersection of the current enterprise world of health IT and the emerging world of digital health. Key themes in the programme will be leading digital change, interoperability and innovation.”

A drawn from members of the Digital Health Networks, is working up the programme.  In addition, there is an online open call for network members to pitch their ideas for sessions.

Digital Health Rewired 2020, 3-4 March, is focused on connecting everyone working on health IT with the very best in innovative and disruptive digital health. Over 1,800 delegates attended Rewired 2019 and 2,500 are expected for 2020.

Day one of Rewired 2020, 3 March, begins with the Digital Health Leadership Summit, the one-day conference dedicated to those leading on digital health across the NHS.

Running alongside the Summit will be the new Digital Health Data Lab Conference, exploring latest developments in using health data.

Day two of Rewired 2020, 4 March, is the main Rewired Conference and Exhibition, which has moved to the much bigger Olympia National.  Seven dedicated conference tracks will cover:

  • Digital Transformation
  • Clinical Software
  • Interoperability Showcase
  • CCIO/CIO National Conference
  • AI and Analytics
  • Cloud and Mobile
  • Shared care

New feature stages in the exhibition will showcase start-ups and the best of digital health projects across London, with Connected Health London.

Rewired will again bring today’s health IT leaders with the best of digital health start-ups and those aiming to reinvent health and care through digital.

Day two sees the return of the quick-fire Rewired Pitchfest, where the best digital health start-ups from across the UK and Europe battle it out to be named Rewired Pitchfest Start-up 2020.

Deepening the start-up focus, Rewired 2020 also sees the launch of the exciting new Digital Health Developer Conference, 4 March, a new one-day conference dedicated to helping software developers from across all parts of health and care, with sessions on tools, platforms and standards.
