Cegedim Rx plans telehealth move

Pharmacy systems specialists, Cegedim Rx, has partnered with Telehealth Solutions to integrate self-monitoring devices with their pharmacy systems.

Telehealth Solutions provides a self-monitoring system for patients, once interfaced with Cegedim Rx pharmacy systems, the system assists in the monitoring of patient’s medications.

Cegedim Rx will be working on a project that will bring integrated testing facilities into their pharmacy systems.

The planned functionality will be able to collect vital indicators for weight management, respiratory, thermometer, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, ECG, blood sugar, INR tests and more.

Cegedim Rx says it plans to ensure pharmacies using their systems have all of the tools they need to perform diagnostic tests to promote healthy living and early detection of possible healthcare problems.

Cegedim Rx says one of the most important aspects of the project will be to help pharmacy build on its strengths by evidencing the success of such tests and clinics.
